    Two ways to take part

    Online, from home

    A conversation group with others, on your laptop or phone. You share your story or you listen. Often it already helps to hear: me too. Handy if you do not live near Utrecht, or if you want to try it first.

    In person, in Utrecht

    Together with others, at a place that is easy to reach. You choose what suits you:

    • Conversation group: you share your story, or you listen to others.
    • Walk: walking and chatting together. Side by side, talking is often easier.

    Afterwards you can stay for a coffee or another drink. To keep talking, or just to enjoy it. You do not have to, but you can. Everyone pays for their own drink.

    Your first time

    It is normal to feel a bit nervous. That is why we tell you beforehand what to expect.

    Online

    • You get a link beforehand. Click it, and you are in.
    • Having your camera on is nice, but not required.
    • Choose a quiet place where nobody can listen in.
    • You do not have to say anything. Listening is fine too.
    • A meeting lasts 60 minutes at most.

    Utrecht

    • Someone from Qozy welcomes you.
    • You do not need to know anyone. Almost everyone comes alone the first time.
    • You do not have to say anything. Listening is fine too.
    • You can always leave early, without explaining.
    • Afterwards you can stay for a drink, at your own cost. That is often when you really get to know each other.
    • A meeting lasts about 60 minutes.

    We are starting in Utrecht, because it is easy to reach for many people. Online meetings are for everyone, wherever you live.

    Signing up and costs

    • Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a Qozy member.
    • You sign up here on the website, at the meeting in the calendar.
    • Taking part is free for now, online and in Utrecht.
    • Having a drink together afterwards is optional and at your own cost.
    • Can you not make it after all? Then cancel, so someone else can have your place.

    Agreements we make together

    This way everyone feels safe, online and in person.

    • What is shared here, stays here. You do not tell people outside the group what someone else said, and you do not mention names.
    • Respect. We listen to each other and let each other finish. Everyone can be who they are.
    • Everyone speaks for themselves. You talk about your own experience. You only give advice when someone asks for it.
    • You decide what you share. Nobody has to tell anything they do not want to.
    • No photos, videos or recordings of other participants.
    • No selling or recruiting. A meeting is not a place to find customers or clients.

    Extra agreements online

    • No screenshots.
    • Choose a quiet place where nobody can listen in.
    • Use your first name, or a name you feel comfortable with.

    Extra agreements for in-person meetings

    • No alcohol or drugs during a meeting.
    • No photos or videos of participants.
    • Be on time, or let us know if you will be late.

    The Qozy host keeps an eye on these agreements. If someone does not keep to them, the host can ask them to stop or to leave the meeting.

    What is the difference between the community and a meeting?

    In the community you chat in the app whenever you want. It is coming soon. A meeting is on a fixed date and time. Online now, and soon also in person.

    Do I need to be a member to join a meeting?

    No. Everyone is welcome.

    How much does a meeting cost?

    Nothing in 2026. Joining is free.

    Do I have to tell or share something?

    No. At a meeting you can also just listen.
